Canary and Madeira Sailing Trip (7-28 March 2026)

Sailing From Porto Santo to Funchal (Madeira)

We’ve just wrapped up a three-week season-opening sailing trip. We visited Tenerife, La Gomera, Madeira, and Porto Santo—covering over 800 nautical miles in total, in conditions ranging from calm to Force 7.

We explored the islands we discovered and, of course, enjoyed the excellent Canary and Madeiran cuisine 😉🦐🦞🦑🦀🍷

There was no shortage of adventure either—from a broken steering linkage that needed repair to an early-morning visit from Frontex, which only added to the experience 🤣

All in all, we’ll definitely be returning to the “Islands of Eternal Spring”!
